LeRoux

Baton Rouge, Louisiana is the birthplace of the 1978 southern rock band LeRoux. Throughout the mid-00’s, LeRoux teamed up with blues guitarist, Tab Benoit to record “Brother to the Blues”. That song would later earn them a Grammy nomination. In 2009, they would become the 50th inductee in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Their 7th studio album is titled ‘One of Those Days’. Current members Tony Haselden, Rod Roddy, Jim Odom, Nelson Blanchard, Mark Duthu, Randy Carpenter, Jeff McCarty, and Joey Decker extend an original sound that recalls illustrations of Louisiana’s rich, Cajun culture. With hits from their prime songs like Take a Ride on a Riverboat, New Orleans Ladies and Nobody Said It Was Easy echoing in the minds of their fans for decades , touring with Kansas, Journey and playing sold out stadium’s they are feeling confident about their new album

Brandon Elder

Arab, AL is home to season 16 American Idol contestant, Brandon Elder. His 2019 EP, “Potholes & Pine Trees” emulates the sound of country artists such as Luke Combs & Dylan Scott. In 2020, Brandon Elder rocked the stage with Grammy Award nominee Jamey Johnson in Montgomery, Alabama. Johnson’s song “Stars In Alabama”, accompanied by Elder, can be found on YouTube.
